직접 찍은 사진이나 직접 그린 그림으로 만든 도안과 완성 이미지는 자유롭게 쓰셔도 됩니다. 만화·게임 캐릭터나 다른 사람의 작품으로 만든 것은 원작의 저작권이 그대로 적용되므로 개인적으로 즐기는 데 그쳐 주세요.

JPG, PNG, WEBP처럼 브라우저가 열 수 있는 이미지만 넣을 수 있습니다. 아이폰 사진 기본 형식인 HEIC는 브라우저에 따라 열리지 않을 수 있습니다. 사진 앱에서 JPG로 내보내거나, 화면을 캡처한 이미지로 넣어 보세요.

주인공이 사진에서 작게 나왔거나 가로 칸 수가 적을 때 생깁니다. 사진을 주인공 위주로 자르고, 가로 칸 수를 40칸 이상으로 올려 보세요. 사진이 어둡거나 흔들렸다면 색 개수를 늘리는 것도 도움이 됩니다. 자세한 방법은 도안 팁을 참고하세요.

사진 가장자리 색과 같은 색이 사진 전체에 이어져 있으면 거의 모든 칸이 비워질 수 있습니다. 이 옵션을 끄고 다시 만들어 주세요. 배경 비우기는 배경이 단색이고 주인공 색과 뚜렷하게 다를 때 잘 동작합니다.

새 도안을 만들면 칠하던 그림은 사라집니다. 그래서 칠하던 그림이 있을 때는 '도안 만들기' 버튼이 주황색으로 바뀌고, 한 번 더 눌러야 새로 시작합니다. 지금 그림을 남기고 싶다면 먼저 '지금 그림 저장'으로 이미지를 저장해 두세요.

고른 색의 번호와 칸의 번호가 다르면 칠해지지 않고 "이 칸은 N번이에요" 안내가 나옵니다. 팔레트에서 그 번호의 색을 고른 뒤 다시 눌러 주세요. 이미 맞게 칠한 칸이라면 이미 완성된 칸입니다.

칸이 너무 작으면 번호를 숨깁니다. 도구 막대의 +를 눌러 칸이 11px 이상이 되도록 확대하면 번호가 나타납니다. 현재 칸 크기는 +, − 사이의 숫자로 확인할 수 있습니다.

번호가 맞는 칸에만 칠해지기 때문에 틀린 색이 칠해지는 일이 없어 지우개가 필요하지 않습니다. 방금 칠한 것을 취소하고 싶다면 '되돌리기'(Ctrl+Z)를 쓰세요. 최근 200번까지 되돌릴 수 있습니다.

판 위에서 손가락을 끌면 칠하기로 동작합니다. 화면을 옮길 때는 도구 막대에서 이동(십자 화살표 아이콘)으로 바꾼 뒤 끌어 주세요. 다시 칠할 때는 칠하기 도구로 돌아오면 됩니다. 팔레트에서 색을 고르면 칠하기 도구로 자동으로 돌아옵니다.

팔레트에서 색을 고르면 그 번호의 남은 칸이 판 위에서 파랗게 강조됩니다. 팔레트에 표시된 남은 칸 수가 0이 아닌 색을 골라 화면을 축소해 보면 강조된 칸을 쉽게 찾을 수 있습니다.

이 기기 브라우저의 저장공간에 자동으로 저장되어, 창을 닫았다 다시 열어도 이어서 칠할 수 있습니다. 서버에 저장하지 않기 때문에 다른 기기나 다른 브라우저에서는 이어지지 않고, 한 번에 하나의 도안만 저장됩니다. 시크릿 모드에서는 창을 닫으면 사라집니다.

카카오톡이나 인스타그램처럼 다른 앱 안에서 열린 브라우저는 파일 다운로드를 막는 경우가 있습니다. 화면 메뉴에서 '다른 브라우저로 열기'를 눌러 Chrome, Safari, 삼성 인터넷 등에서 다시 열어 주세요. 그래도 안 되면 사용한 기기와 브라우저를 적어 문의로 알려 주세요.

완성 이미지에서 칸 하나를 몇 픽셀로 그릴지 정하는 값입니다. 선택 옆에 실제 이미지 크기가 표시됩니다. 예를 들어 40×53칸 그림은 8px이면 320×424px, 32px이면 1280×1696px이 됩니다. 프로필 사진에는 16px, 크게 출력하려면 32px을 추천합니다.

'PNG로 저장'은 색이 칠해진 완성 그림이고, '번호 도안 저장'은 색 없이 흰 칸에 번호만 적힌 도안입니다. 번호 도안에는 5칸마다 눈금, 10칸마다 굵은 선, 번호별 색과 칸 수가 적힌 색상표가 들어 있어 출력해서 직접 칠하거나 비즈·십자수 도안으로 쓰기 좋습니다.

Patterns and images made from your own photos or drawings are yours to use freely. Anything made from cartoon or game characters or other people's artwork is still covered by the original copyright, so please keep it for personal enjoyment.

Only images your browser can open work, such as JPG, PNG and WEBP. HEIC, the iPhone's default photo format, may not open in some browsers. Export the photo as JPG from your photo app, or use a screenshot of it instead.

This happens when the subject is small in the photo or the column count is low. Crop the photo around the subject and raise the columns to 40 or more. If the photo is dark or blurry, adding colors also helps. See Pattern tips for more.

If the edge color continues across the whole photo, almost every cell can be cleared. Turn the option off and make the pattern again. Background clearing works best when the background is a single color that differs clearly from the subject.

Making a new pattern replaces the one you are painting. That is why, while you have progress, the Make pattern button turns orange and needs a second click to start over. To keep your current picture, save it first with "Save current art".

If the selected color's number differs from the cell's number, the cell is not painted and a message says "This cell is number N". Pick that number's color in the palette and click again. If the cell already shows its color, it is already done.

Numbers are hidden when cells are very small. Click + on the toolbar until cells are at least 11px and the numbers appear. The current cell size is the number shown between + and −.

Cells only accept their matching color, so wrong colors never get painted and no eraser is needed. To cancel what you just painted, use Undo (Ctrl+Z). Up to the last 200 actions can be undone.

Dragging a finger on the board paints. To move the view, switch to Move (the cross-arrow icon) on the toolbar and drag. Picking a color in the palette switches back to Paint automatically.

When you pick a color, its remaining cells are highlighted in blue on the board. Pick a color whose remaining count in the palette is not zero, zoom out, and the highlighted cells are easy to spot.

It is saved automatically in this browser's storage, so you can close the tab and continue later. Nothing is stored on a server, so progress does not carry over to another device or browser, and only one pattern is kept at a time. In a private window it disappears when the window closes.

Browsers built into other apps, such as KakaoTalk or Instagram, sometimes block downloads. Use the menu option to open the page in another browser, such as Chrome, Safari or Samsung Internet, and try again. If it still fails, tell me your device and browser via Contact.

It sets how many pixels each cell takes in the saved image, and the actual image size is shown next to the choice. For example, a 40×53 pattern is 320×424px at 8px and 1280×1696px at 32px. 16px suits profile pictures; choose 32px for large prints.

"Save PNG" gives the finished, colored picture. "Save number chart" gives a blank chart with only numbers in white cells, with ruler marks every 5 cells, bold lines every 10, and a legend of each number's color and cell count. It is made for printing and coloring by hand, or for bead and cross-stitch work.
